Stephen Gilbert - Working for You

Stephen Gilbert

Welcome to the web site for St Austell and Newquay Liberal Democrats

Welcome to the website of the St Austell & Newquay Liberal Democrats!

It's an exciting time here in the heart of Cornwall - because the population has grown, we are set to get an extra MP at the next election.

I'm the Liberal Democrat candidate for this "new" seat of St Austell & Newquay. The boundaries stretch from Fowey, in the south east, along the south coast, past Mevagissey to East Portholland, and then up through the clay country to Newquay and along the north coast, through St Columb Major, to Mawgan Porth and Trenance.

This is my home. It's where I grew up, went to school and live and work. My family are from Nanpean in the clay country; I was raised in St Austell and went to school in Fowey - and my great-grandfather used to fish along the north coast!

Until the next general election, the area is represented by three Liberal Democrat MPs Dan Rogerson, Matthew Taylor and Colin Breed.

Please feel free to look around the website - if you have any questions then let me know.

Remember, we are here to help you - so if there is anything we can do, please get in touch.

Many thanks,

Stephen Gilbert

PS: If there is something that you think we should have on our website that we don't currently have on there, please let us know.
