Stephen Gilbert - Working for You

How can I get involved?

People do many different things to help their local community. The political process exists to help represent you and campaign for a better society for us all to live in. There are a number of ways in which you could get involved.

  • You could deliver some leaflets for the party in your street, or local area.

  • You could display a poster in your window or in your garden at election times

  • You could help with door-to-door canvassing or surveys

  • You could help with the office jobs that need to doing at election times

  • You could join the party

  • You could attend branch meetings and help with the running of the organisation, e.g. by becoming an officer such as secretary, treasurer etc.

  • You could put yourself forward for election as a district councillor or county councillor, or even as an M.P.

  • You could attend our social events and fundraisers, details of which can be found here: http://www.staustellnewquay-libdems.org.uk/pages/header-events.html

Whatever way you feel that you could contribute, please contact the office or a branch, or speak to one of our councillors and they will help you to get involved. See the contact list for telephone numbers; or email us via the link at the top of the page. You can join the party via the Join the Party link from this website; or you could contact us locally and we will arrange your membership for you.
